Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using My Card Inventory (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What the Service is

The Service reads your purchase emails (with your permission) to build and organize an inventory of collectible cards, and provides tools to track cost, calculate sale prices, and log sales. It is an organizational and informational tool.

3. Not financial advice

Cost figures, break-even prices, profit targets, and any values shown are estimates for your convenience. We do notguarantee any card's value, appraisal, or resale outcome, and nothing in the Service is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

4. Your account & responsibilities

• You're responsible for your account and for the accounts you connect.
• Connect only inboxes you own or are authorized to access.
• Don't misuse the Service, attempt to breach security, or use it unlawfully.

5. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (e.g., Google, Anthropic, Supabase, Vercel, and payment processors). Your use of connected services is also subject to their terms.

5a. Listing to eBay

If you connect an eBay account, the Service can build a listing from a card in your inventory and publish it to eBay on your behalf. Connecting is optional, available on paid plans, and can be undone at any time from inside the app or from eBay's own third-party app settings.

Nothing is published without you. A listing is prepared first and shown to you in full — title, price, category, condition, item specifics and photos — and only goes live when you press publish. You are responsible for what that listing says: the price, the condition, the accuracy of the description, and for honouring the sale, the shipping and any returns. We do not set prices and do not advise on them.

eBay decides what it will accept. Its fees, policies, category rules and listing requirements are eBay's and can change without notice to us. We cannot guarantee that a listing will publish, remain live, or sell, and a listing published through the Service is subject to eBay's User Agreement exactly as one created on eBay directly.

6. Subscriptions

Paid plans, prices, and billing terms (if offered) will be presented at checkout. Fees are billed in advance after any free trial period and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel to stop future charges.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that parsing is error- free or that the Service will be uninterrupted.

Parsed data is a suggestion, not a record. Card details, prices, shipping, tax and totals are extracted automatically from emails and can be wrong, incomplete, or missing. Everything imported is shown to you for review before it enters your inventory, and it is your responsibility to check it. Do not rely on figures produced by the Service for tax filings, insurance, financial reporting, or a sale without verifying them against the original documents.

Email forwarding. Your forwarding address is a credential — anyone who has it can send email to it, which would place suggested cards in your import queue. Keep it private and replace it in the app if it is exposed. We are not responsible for what happens to email in transit, for messages your mail provider fails to deliver, filters, or forwards, or for anything arising from an address you have shared. Forwarding does not give us access to your mailbox, and we cannot recover a message that never reached us.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, business, or card value arising from your use of the Service. This includes losses arising from inaccurate or incomplete parsing, a missed or misdelivered email, decisions you make to buy, sell, grade, insure or declare cards based on what the Service shows, or from a forwarding address you have shared or had exposed. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service.
